Frequently Asked Questions

Waxing FAQs

How long should my hair be to wax?
The hair should be the length of a grain of rice.
If this is your first wax we recommend not shaving at least two weeks prior to your appointment.
After your first wax we recommend that you wax every 3-4 weeks.
Can I wax while taking Accutane?
No! Waxing shouldn’t be done while on Accutane as this may result in erosions on the skin. You must be off this medication treatment for a minimum of 1 year prior to waxing.
Is waxing safe while pregnant?
Yes! Waxing while pregnant offers no risk aside from the skin being a little more sensitive during this time.
Please note: Inflamed, irritated or sunburned skin should not be waxed. Any such area should be healed completely before waxing.

Spray Tan FAQs

What should I expect from my spray tan appointment?
Your first appointment will be about 20-30 minutes. We will explain the details of the product and what to expect. After your first appointment, 15 minutes is more than enough time.
What should I wear to my spray tan appointment?
We recommend you wear loose-fitting, dark clothing and flip-flops to appointments. Do not wear any lotions, moisturizers, or makeup. These can all act as a barrier to the tanning solution and can result in a spray tan that is spotted, splotchy, or uneven. During treatment, women may wear as much as you want or nothing at all. It is really up to what you are most comfortable in. We have disposable G-string underwear and shower caps for you to use during your session. For men, we ask that you wear underwear or swimwear.
